Dartmouth College may not be the originators of baseball but there is where the first ever photograph and documentation of baseball in the United States was had. Many people thought they were playing cricket, but they were actually playing baseball.

Chris Carpenter, Brian Wilson, Ian Hamilton and Jeff Locke are some of the top names from New Hampshire to make it to the MLB.

Known as bat and ball play in 1770 is the first time of any documentation of baseball in the United States which was at Dartmouth College.
