Coors Field which plays host to the Colorado Rockies is the highest baseball park in the MLB located over 5,000 feet above sea level. This certainly helps the ball fly out of the park almost every game! There has only been one no hitter thrown at Coors Field which was done by Hideo Nomo of the L.A. Dodgers.

Denver has long been a hot bed for minor league baseball all the way back to the 19th century. Colorado attempted many of times to gain a MLB team before finally doing so with the Rockies in the 1993.
