Arkansas loves baseball despite not having a MLB team. The Arkansas Travelers, a minor league team is one of the longest continuous histories in baseball. The Travelers have been around since 1901.

Brooks Robinson, Lou Brock, Torii Hunter, Cliff Lee and A.J. Burnert are some of best players to come from the state of Arkansas.

Sticks, DOC Baseball and Soldier Spects are some of the top travel teams in Arkansas.

Slade Caldwell(Diamondbacks) Ty Waid(Arkansas) Braylon Bishop(Arkansas) are a couple of top prospects over the past few years from the state of Arkansas to keep an eye on.

In 1897 the University of Arkansas baseball program was founded which has turned in to one of the top programs in the country. The first known Arkansas State Championship was held in 1869 at the Arkansas State Fair.

Arkansas is home to two minor league teams.

Arkansas Travelers - Located in Little Rock the Double-A affiliated of the Seattle Mariners. Mike Trout, John Lackey, Cal Raleigh, Julio Rodriguez and Chone Figgins are some great players that suited up for the Travelers.
